Energy savings
Cold Start technology is designed to optimise energy use by activating the boiler only whenthe handle is turned to the hot water position. With a centrally positioned handle that starts with cold water, hot water is gradually introduced as the handle is turned to the left.
Based on annual savings for a family of four—considering two minutes of toothbrushing per day and handwashing five times a day—basin faucets with Cold Start technology can guarantee energy savings of 45%.
Improved aesthetics
Moreover, as the opening to the right is restricted, the Cold Start faucets allow the lining up of the handle with the spout, improving the aesthetics and facilitating a natural front opening.
